Spring Training Camp 2024

Dates: Monday, 12th February – Wednesday, 14th February incl.

Venue: Cornwall Fencing Centre, Truro School, Trennick Lane, Truro Cornwall, TR1 1TH (map & directions below)

TFC Spring Training Camp 2024 is sabre only training, taking place from 9.30am to 4.00pm on all three days.

The Camp will provide top-class coaching, fitness training, footwork, sparring. Lunch is included in your fee, and as well as your fencing kit, you will need running shoes, extra T-shirts and a towel.

TFC Coaching Team is led by Head Coach Balazs Kurucz, together with Senior Sabre Coach James Martin and Steve Petrie S&C coach; they have coached at world level and will work with you to develop all aspects of your game at this fun and challenging training camp.

The competition is held at Truro Fencing Club, at The Cornwall Fencing Centre, based at Truro School. The address is Truro Fencing Club, The Cornwall Fencing Centre, Trennick Lane, Truro, Cornwall , TR1 1TH and you’re heading to building number 24:

Drive up Trennick Lane, turning right to enter the ‘Main Car Park’
Drive across this car park, keeping building number 26 (Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre/SBA) to your left, there is a road to the right of the SBA, follow this down and around to the right
Truro Fencing Club, (building number 24) is second on the right (directly after and attached to the swimming pool)

Parking is free and directly outside the fencing club. Please park carefully, utilising the SBA car park if needed.
